The YMCA of Austin triathlon training seeks to provide an inclusive, encouraging community for anyone wishing to participate in multi-sport. We welcome all levels of fitness, ability and experience and hope to foster a love of triathlon and a commitment to a healthy, active lifestyle. Our goal is to offer triathlon training for all ages and abilities. Whether you are a beginner, interested in tip-toeing into the world of triathlon, or are a seasoned triathlete, Y programs have something to offer. Y triathlon training promotes the benefit of structured, consistent training, paired with the advantages associated with group training.

  • Y-Tri Club: Year-round training and activities for men & women. Great training. Great fun. Benefits galore!
  • Women-Only Training: Girl Power! Prepare for your 1st or 51st triathlon in this inspiring environment.
  • Co-Ed Training: Sprint to Ironman - take your training to a new level. Train for summer & fall triathlons.

WOMEN-ONLY TRI TRAINING

Whether you are a beginner and are 'tri-ing' training for the first time, or are a seasoned triathlete, Y Tri training has great things to offer! USAT-certified coaches. This 10-week training program will prepare women of all ages and abilities for the Athleta IronGirl Triathlon on June 2.

Athleta IronGirl Tri is a sprint distance event - perfect for newbies or those looking for a great mid-season challenge. Women can continue training beyond IronGirl, with late season programming. CO-ED TRI TRAINING

Co-Ed Triathlon Training enables you to train with a group year-round. Supported group bike rides, runs, and open water swims. Coaches are experienced, USAT-certified, and can provide participants individualized training plans. Triathlon Club is open to men and women – members and nonmembers. Y-TRI CLUB

The Y-Triathlon Club enables you to train with a group year-round. This co-ed Club provides supported group bike rides, runs, and open water swims, along with monthly speaker meetings, interactive demos (think, how do I change a tire?) and other triathlon-related activities. Coaches are experienced, USAT-certified, and can provide participants individualized training plans. Networking opportunities, fun social activities and participate in great, local area races! Y-Tri Club Membership, tons of benefit for one low prince. The best triathlon training value in Austin!
