North Austin YMCA’s Best Buy Teen Tech Center® is a modern, technology-driven safe space for youth ages 12-18. Located in North Austin, this drop-in center allows teens to explore cutting edge technology and express themselves creatively through personal projects they are passionate about, while learning valuable life skills and discovering new career pathways.

We offer hands-on learning for:

TEENS:

The Teen Tech Center is available FREE of charge to teens (12-18 years) in the Austin Metroplex. You must be either a YMCA Member or a Y Community Member (community membership is FREE.)

***STEP 1. If you’re not already a Y member, sign up for FREE by coming into the North Austin YMCA for an easy sign up with our Membership Staff OR by following these specific directions:

2. Scroll down half way & click the gold button labeled “JOIN THE Y”
3. Select Location: “North Austin”
4. Select your Income Choice > Click “Next”
5. Scroll down & Click “PARTICIPANT” > Click “Start”
