Outdoor Camping

For All Ages

This is a full-service campout where we provide you and your family with everything – the tent (if selected tent option), food, activities, and fun. Activities include archery, challenge course, rock climbing, swimming, fishing, crafts, hiking, and quality time with your family. The Y provides dinner, s’mores by campfire, and breakfast on Sunday morning. Campouts start on Saturday at 1:15pm and finish on Sundays by 10:00am.
Family campouts are a perfect way for inexperienced campers to get acclimated to the outdoors with expert guidance and the camaraderie of other families. Unplug from the outside world, if only for a few hours, and experience the wonders of nature.
A man in a camo jacket, camo hat, and sunglasses holding a red fishing pole stands next to a boy in a black hoodie holding a fish on the end of the fishing pole’s line. The two are smiling at the camera and standing on a large rock by a creek with other children in jackets fishing behind them. Trees are blurred in the background of the photograph.

A woman in an orange life jacket, sunglasses, and tan hat sits at the front of a green canoe holding a green paddle with one hand and pointing off camera with the other. A little boy and adult man sit behind her in the canoe, rowing. A line of other campers coming down a trail to the water and a grassy shoreline are blurred in the background of the photograph.

“It’s amazing to see the looks on kids’ faces when they catch their first fish or roast a marshmallow on the campfire. Seeing families connect in a new way is very gratifying.”

– Bret Kiester, YMCA Camp Moody
