Facility Updates

As part of our commitment to providing you with the best possible experience, our maintenance team has begun brightening the gymnasium walls with a fresh coat of paint today and should wrap up that section of the building by Friday, November 22. Crews will paint the entire building. Expect closures of sections of the building during painting.

The maintenance team has begun additional deep cleaning in our restroom and locker areas. These areas will not be accessible to members during maintenance.

• During the Locker Room closure:
  • Showers – we have two individual restrooms with showers located near the locker rooms. We also have outdoor locker rooms with showers.
  • Restrooms – we have an individual restroom located next to the Kids Play area. There are both a men’s and a women’s restroom on the second floor, and outdoor locker rooms.

And, from Sunday, November 24 to Sunday, December 1, we’ll be giving our indoor pool & hot tub area a deep clean and maintenance.

• During the Pool Closure:
  • The outdoor lap pool is heated and will have at least 1 lane dedicated for family open swim at all times.

• We’re adding gymnasium open hours November 24 – December 1:
  • Sundays 2pm-6pm
  • Mon/Wed: 5:30am-9am, 10am-1pm, 2pm-9pm
  • Tues: 5:30am-9am, 10-11:30am, 2-9pm
  • Fri: 8am-3pm
  • Sat: 9am-7pm

We’re rotating out the fitness equipment for maintenance 5-6 pieces at a time beginning Monday, November 25. The whole process should take about 2 weeks to complete.

While we understand that these closures are a temporary inconvenience, we assure you these upgrades will significantly improve your overall experience at the YMCA. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to make your YMCA even better.
