Re-Envisioning Kids Play

At the Greater Austin YMCA, we believe the values and skills learned early on are vital building blocks for quality of life and future success. We focus on holistically nurturing child development by providing a safe and healthy place to learn foundational skills, develop healthy, trusting relationships and build self-reliance. While nearly 1,000 children aged 8 weeks to 11 years old enjoyed Northwest Y’s free Kids Play last year, this space could more deeply support our children’s learning and development while fulfilling an even greater community need.
