Community Garden News

Garden Community Workday: Saturday, February 15 @ 9 a.m.: We’ll be gathering for a special community workday to learn about pruning trees. We’ll also be painting signs for the garden and sprucing it up for Spring. Come out to volunteer, learn more about the garden and help keep the North Austin Community Garden looking its best! The garden entrance is located at the far end of the Y parking lot.

Garden Story Time: Saturday, February @ 9:30 a.m.: Bring the family to garden story time with the children’s librarian from the Little Walnut Creek branch library. Each month Ms. Jessica sings songs, reads books and has a hands-on activity for the kids. This month’s theme will be dandelions. After the story time everyone is invited into the community garden to peek at what is growing and even take a taste straight from the garden.

Community Garden plots now available to the public.
