Summer Camp Ages 5-12

Get ready for Summer Camp Unplugged at Southwest Family YMCA, where the fun never stops! This is the ultimate summer experience, packed with sports, games, arts and crafts, Safe Archery, outdoor swimming, cool STEM activities, and so much more! Unplug from the screens and dive into endless adventure Monday through Friday from June 2nd to August 8th. Camp runs from 8 AM to 5 PM, with extended hours from 7 AM to 6 PM. Whether it’s exploring, creating, or just having a blast, it’s the summer of a lifetime—no devices needed! 🌞🎨🏊‍♀️⚽🎯 Need more info? Email Southwest.youthfamily@austinymca.org  

Youth Programs

Spring into swimming this April and May with our Spring Swim Lessons! We offer classes for everyone—from babies as young as 6 months to adults up to 99 years old. Whether you’re starting out or looking to improve your strokes, we have a class for you. Don’t wait—sign up now and make a splash this season! 

Swim Team Tryouts

Ready to take your swimming to the next level? Our Swim Team Tryouts are coming up for kids ages 6-15! If you’re looking to challenge yourself in a fun and competitive environment, join us for tryouts. To schedule yours, email us at southwest.aquatics@austinymca.org. Teen Fit 

Empower your teen with our Strength and Conditioning Program, designed to enhance physical fitness, build strength, improve agility, and promote overall well-being. Tailored exercises and expert guidance ensure safe and effective training, fostering confidence and resilience in young athletes. Programming can be adapted to sports specific needs or fitness goals 

Zen In Motion

April is Stress Awareness Month! 
Join us for a unique workshop that combines Vagus Nerve Release with influences from Yoga and Qi Gong to develop deep-body resilience to the stressors of modern life. This workshop is designed for all ages and abilities.

Healthy Kids Day

Get ready for a day of action, fun and wellness at our Healthy Kids Day® at Southwest Y! Healthy Kids Day® is the Y’s national initiative to improve the health and well-being of kids and families. 
This FREE event is open to the public and packed with games, family activities and community vendors.
