Upcoming Changes to Group Exercise Programming
You spoke up & we listened! New classes and equipment are on their way to East Communities YMCA.
- NEW class alert! Bodypump has been added Wednesdays at 5:30 P.M. and Sundays at 12:30 P.M. with Elena.
- NEW equipment!
- Magic rings and balls for Mat Pilates, held every Tues/Thurs at 8:15 A.M.
- New Bodypump equipment is here! Plenty of equipment for up to 35 participants in those classes!
Splash Weekend at the Y June 1st-2nd, 2024
Get ready to make waves with Splash Weekend at the Y! Join us on June 1st and 2nd for free family fun at any of our eight location! We’ll have exciting water activities, games, and snacks lined up for you to enjoy. Remember to mark your calendars and join us for the kickoff to summer! Get ready for the summer fun to kick off at Kid’s Play! As we gear up for those sun-soaked days, mark your calendars: Starting Friday, May 3rd, Kid’s Play will extend its hours to include Fridays from 8 A.M. to 12 P.M.!

Free Day of Therapy May 22, 2024
Observe Mental Health Awareness Month by taking advantage of a free 30-minute counseling session on Wednesday, May 22, with YMCA Counseling.
Prioritize your mental and emotional health.
Sessions are available 9:00 am – 3:00 pm. Bilingual (English & Spanish) sessions are available by request.

Winter Programs Showcase March 9th, 2024
Get ready for our exciting Winter Showcase presented by North Austin and East Communities YMCA! The kiddos have been sharpening their skills in martial arts, gymnastics, dance, and more throughout the winter months, and they are excited to show off their cool new skills!
It’s going to be a blast, so grab all your family and friends and don’t miss out on this culmination of all their hard work!

Everline Counseling Services
Do you or a loved one need mental health counseling? Register today for an appointment with Everline Counseling, the Greater Austin YMCA’s new program. In-person and teletherapy appointments are available at East Communities Center for less than half of the average cost for counseling in Austin.
Starting in October, Everline Counseling is offering two new group therapy options:
- Post Partem Depression & Anxiety Therapeutic Support Group (Virtual) Beginning on October 11th from 10:00
