Specialty Fitness Programs

Focus on your health and hone your skills in specialty fitness classes at the Y.

Adult Boxing is a 12 round non-contact, high intensity workout. In each class you will work on specific combinations, cardio agility drills and foot work that you will then execute with the coach at the end of class. Boxers are considered some of the fittest athletes on the planet. Come see what it’s all about!

Teen Strength & Conditioning empowers your teen with our Strength and Conditioning Program, designed to enhance physical fitness, build strength, improve agility, and promote overall well-being. Tailored exercises and expert guidance ensure safe and effective training, fostering confidence and resilience in young athletes. Led by former collegiate football athlete and first year physical therapy student, Ovie is driven to deliver a training program to improve their athletic performance.

Women with Weights imparts the transformative benefits of barbell-centric workouts, as you learn proper techniques in a supportive environment. We understand that stepping into the weightlifting area of the gym can be intimidating, which is why our program is tailored specifically to empower women to feel confident and capable in this traditionally male-dominated space.

Adult Fencing will help you develop discipline, balance, coordination, reaction time and sportsmanship. The sport helps with quicker reflexes and the ability to make lighting fast analysis of tactical situations. Sean, our instructor, comes to us with over 20 years of experience and is excited to introduce you to this awesome sport!
