Specialty Fitness Options

Teen Strength & Conditioning | Empower your teen with our Strength and Conditioning Program, designed to enhance physical fitness, build strength, improve agility, and promote overall well-being. Tailored exercises and expert guidance ensure safe and effective training, fostering confidence and resilience in young athletes. Led by former collegiate football athlete and first year physical therapy student, Ovie is driven to deliver a training program to improve their athletic performance.

Adult Boxing | This boxing class at the Townlake YMCA is a 12 round non-contact, high intensity workout that is open to all. In each class you will work on specific combinations, cardio agility drills and foot work that you will  then execute with the coach at the end of class. We will sanitize boxing equipment between use. It’s a fun and exciting way to burn calories, get in shape, and learn basic boxing fundamentals. Come see what it’s all about in a welcoming, noncompetitive environment.

Adult Kickboxing | During this 4-week training series, you’ll learn different Kickboxing combinations with kicks, punches, elbow and knee strikes. Each session is progressive, and will build on the combinations and techniques covered in the previous classIn addition to a fun, small group trailing environment, you will also get the added benefits that martial arts based training provides – an enhanced sense of mind-body awareness, empowerment, and confidence! This class is open to all levels; it does not include sparring. Hand wraps and gloves are required (the instructor recommends 180in wraps and 12-16oz gloves).
