Youth Boxing

For Ages 8 to 16

Youth Boxing at the Y is designed to prepare youth to play positive roles in their community through self-discipline and character development. That goal is achieved through a program that focuses on growing strong bodies, disciplined minds and enhanced personal character.

Boxing and self-defense is the primary focus with mixed martial arts and Tae Kwon Do elements included to provide a varied training session to challenge and encourage participants.

Additional Information

In our youth boxing program, boxers gain agility, speed, balance, and coordination. Boxing conveys lessons of self-control as well as self-defense. As a high-intensity sport, your child will develop stamina and find inner strength to overcome challenges. Boxing benefits children’s minds and bodies.

Improve reaction time, enhance coordination, and build self confidence in the Y’s youth boxing program.
